Specs
- Rust Shield can last anywhere from 6 - 12 months depending on how often you use your car off-road. We suggest checking before each trip to ensure you're protected.
- How to check: Rust Shield leaves a hydrophobic barrier on your vehicles chassis. Once the hydrophobic properties start to fail It's time to reapply.
- Pro Tip: If your Chassis doesn't rinse clean with a quick wash. Your Rust Shield coating may need topping up.
- If you are a passionate off-roader or beach goer - you may need to reapply Rust Shield several times per year to ensure you stay protected.
How to use
Step 1: Pressure wash the appointed areas of your vehicle or trailer, best used with Salt Shifts All Purpose Cleaner.
Step 2: Allow to dry free of water residue
Step 3: Spray Salt Shift Rust Shield on
Step 4: Allow 3 hours to tack dry before any normal tarmac driving, then allow 3-4 days to cure and harden before any trail/beach driving, vessel launching or commuting on wet roads. Ensure to check if it has cured to a non-stick touch test prior to going off-road.

How Australian Orders Work
Order Processing
Orders do not ship same-day. All Australian orders first arrive at our Auckland HQ warehouse, where they are collated and processed for export. This can take up to 3 business days before dispatch.
Multiple Items
If your order contains multiple items, we’ll collate them at our Auckland HQ and ship them together so your order arrives in full.
Remote Areas
Delivery to rural or remote parts of Australia, including WA, NT, and Far North QLD, may take longer than the standard 4–6 business day estimate.
Dispatch Schedule
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm NZ time. Our daily processing cut-off is 3:00pm NZ time. Orders placed after this, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed the next business day.

You’ll automatically receive a Team Global Express tracking link once your parcel leaves Auckland and is scanned into the carrier network.
Customs & Duty Charges
International orders may be subject to customs or import duties once they reach Australia. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Hyper Ride cannot control, predict, or waive these fees, and we cannot mark orders as gifts.
