This is one of the lightest timbers on earth, roughly 40% lighter than many others but has an iconic quality for keeping it’s shape. Paulownia is often referred to as ‘The Tree of the Future’ as one tree can regenerate several times over. This added technology will enhance your ocean going experiences by providing you with a board that is optimised to endure whilst being an eco-friendly solution.
The flying fish features a fuller outline along with a beefed up rail which increases maximum stability. These attributes enhance speed and buoyancy along with control to glide into less than ideal wave conditions which in tern give you plenty of time to get to your feet. The Flying Fish in its larger sizes are ideal for the beginner looking for a forgiving shape that will increase your wave count. This model won’t disappoint even the most experienced surfers looking for a small wave fish alternative.
The double concave through the tail combined with thruster or quad options provides functionality and is tailorable in a variety of surf conditions or the riders preference. These boards are a must have for any quiver and will have you grinning ear to ear as you fly down the line.
Best suited for the Beginner rider who want a versatile stable platform with added paddle power or Experienced rider looking for strength and performance in the smaller sizes.

There are currently no express shipping options available for Australia.
We do not ship surfboards or stand-up paddleboards to Australia. We also cannot deliver to post shops or PO Boxes — a residential or business street address is required.

How Australian Orders Work
Order Processing
Orders do not ship same-day. All Australian orders first arrive at our Auckland HQ warehouse, where they are collated and processed for export. This can take up to 3 business days before dispatch.
Multiple Items
If your order contains multiple items, we’ll collate them at our Auckland HQ and ship them together so your order arrives in full.
Remote Areas
Delivery to rural or remote parts of Australia, including WA, NT, and Far North QLD, may take longer than the standard 4–6 business day estimate.
Dispatch Schedule
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm NZ time. Our daily processing cut-off is 3:00pm NZ time. Orders placed after this, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed the next business day.

You’ll automatically receive a Team Global Express tracking link once your parcel leaves Auckland and is scanned into the carrier network.
Customs & Duty Charges
International orders may be subject to customs or import duties once they reach Australia. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Hyper Ride cannot control, predict, or waive these fees, and we cannot mark orders as gifts.
