I’m onto my second Ocean & Earth Indo Stiff Peak Surf Hat and that says a lot.
My first one ended up with my niece, so replacing it was a no brainer.
The stiff brim is the standout. It holds its shape in the water and gives solid protection from both the sun and oncoming waves. No floppy brim. No constant adjusting. It just works.
It’s comfortable, secure, and built for proper time in the surf. You can tell it’s designed by people who actually use it, not just for looks.
If you want reliable sun protection that stays put in real conditions, this hat does the job. I’d buy it again without hesitation.
