These grips are plush as. If you’re a fan of thin, sticky, wide grips then give ‘em a go. I run a grip shift pinion gearbox MTB and have to cut down the right hand side to accomodate the shifter, and these grips allow me to run fine gauge wire as a fastener at either end, and the middle of the grip to ensure it doesn’t move under my hand. The grooves in the grip hide the wire, so the risk of cutting your hand is nonexistent if you do the setup job well. And they’re comparatively cheap due to the lack of collars and plastic inners…perfect.
