I would say that this tool is not going to be that useful because MAVIC aero wheelset doesn't come very often, however when working on aero spokes, the black plastic tool would be very helpful. I only purchased this tool because I wanted to work around with an old MAVIC wheelset but unfortunately the nipples were too old and seized that it made it too brittle to adjust. This tool surely fits snugly into the spoke nipple and would not worry of slipping, but the only downside I find is it lacks leverage due to small design. On the brighter side however, the design is so compact and integrated that makes it easy to store.
