Designed and engineered from the ground up, NEXUS is the culmination of 4 years of research and development and more than 40 years of experience since racers started tearing around tracks wearing Oxford-branded gear.
The NEXUS 1.0 is CE certified to level 2/2/2/2, the highest protection rating achievable. Considerable attention has been paid to the boot's protective features to achieve this, including internal PU reinforcements at the toe, heel counter, footbed and ankle protection. The microfibre upper also boasts impressive resistance to abrasion and impact cuts.
The design centres around an ergonomically designed external articulated ankle brace, allowing flexion for shifting and braking whilst protecting against excess sideways movement. TPU reinforcements at the shin and heel, in addition to removable toe sliders, provide additional impact and abrasion protection.
Comfort features such as accordion stretch at the front and rear improve the boot's flexibility, reducing fatigue without affecting protective performance. A 3D mesh lining enhances breathability, working hand in hand with the Dry2Dry™ breathable waterproof membrane to wick sweat away for all-day comfort.

Delivery times for rural areas can vary depending on how often couriers service your location. Some rural deliveries may only be serviced once a week, so we recommend checking with your local rural courier if timing is important.

There are currently no express shipping options available for Australia.
We do not ship surfboards or stand-up paddleboards to Australia. We also cannot deliver to post shops or PO Boxes — a residential or business street address is required.

How Australian Orders Work
Order Processing
Orders do not ship same-day. All Australian orders first arrive at our Auckland HQ warehouse, where they are collated and processed for export. This can take up to 3 business days before dispatch.
Multiple Items
If your order contains multiple items, we’ll collate them at our Auckland HQ and ship them together so your order arrives in full.
Remote Areas
Delivery to rural or remote parts of Australia, including WA, NT, and Far North QLD, may take longer than the standard 4–6 business day estimate.
Dispatch Schedule
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm NZ time. Our daily processing cut-off is 3:00pm NZ time. Orders placed after this, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed the next business day.

You’ll automatically receive a Team Global Express tracking link once your parcel leaves Auckland and is scanned into the carrier network.
Customs & Duty Charges
International orders may be subject to customs or import duties once they reach Australia. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Hyper Ride cannot control, predict, or waive these fees, and we cannot mark orders as gifts.
