Equip yourself with the Nelson Rigg HURRICANE 2.0 30L BACKPACK, designed for maximum UV protection and 100% waterproof performance. This versatile backpack includes an optional hydration bladder and can also be mounted as a waterproof tail bag using the patented RIGG STRAP® system.
The Nelson Rigg HURRICANE 2.0 30L BACKPACK is constructed from durable Tarpaulin PVC and features electronically heat welded seams for complete waterproof protection. The watertight roll closure with quick release buckles ensures no water can penetrate the bag, while the waterproof purge valve allows for easy load compression. The backpack securely mounts using the patented RIGG STRAP® system, which can also be used as a separate tie down system. The padded back panel is sectionalized to allow for better airflow, and the back panel opens to conceal straps when used as a tail pack.
The backpack includes dual quick release closure options, either over the top or down the sides. The removable MOLLE panel is reversible with a waterproof map pocket. The integrated front pocket is designed to hold an optional hydration bladder, and the side bottle pocket holds 850ml bottles (bottles not included). Additionally, the side MOLLE panel allows for the addition of other optional accessories. Reflective webbing enhances visibility, and the backpack straps are 3-way adjustable and padded for maximum comfort. This backpack is backed by a lifetime warranty, guaranteeing durability and long-lasting performance.

Delivery times for rural areas can vary depending on how often couriers service your location. Some rural deliveries may only be serviced once a week, so we recommend checking with your local rural courier if timing is important.

Once an order has been placed, we cannot process cancellations or edits.

There are currently no express shipping options available for Australia.
We do not ship surfboards or stand-up paddleboards to Australia. We also cannot deliver to post shops or PO Boxes — a residential or business street address is required.

How Australian Orders Work
Order Processing
Orders do not ship same-day. All Australian orders first arrive at our Auckland HQ warehouse, where they are collated and processed for export. This can take up to 3 business days before dispatch.
Multiple Items
If your order contains multiple items, we’ll collate them at our Auckland HQ and ship them together so your order arrives in full.
Remote Areas
Delivery to rural or remote parts of Australia, including WA, NT, and Far North QLD, may take longer than the standard 4–6 business day estimate.
Dispatch Schedule
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm NZ time. Our daily processing cut-off is 3:00pm NZ time. Orders placed after this, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed the next business day.

You’ll automatically receive a Team Global Express tracking link once your parcel leaves Auckland and is scanned into the carrier network.
Customs & Duty Charges
International orders may be subject to customs or import duties once they reach Australia. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Hyper Ride cannot control, predict, or waive these fees, and we cannot mark orders as gifts.
