The Abstract is a consolidation of years of freestyle board development and team feedback, designed to be one of the most versatile snowboards on the market. Loaded with features, this mid-flexing unisex board is equipped with Salomon's most popular camber profile and sidecut pairing for versatility, pop, and playfulness in the park, streets, or wherever you want to ride.

Rider Type:  All Mountain / Freestyle

Shape: True Twin

Flex: 3/10 Medium

Rocker: Rocker / Camber / Rocker

Ability Level: Intermediate / Advanced

CAMBER

Rock Out Camber – Flat between your bindings for stability, camber near the feet for response, and rocker on the tip/tail for pressability.

SHAPE

True Twin – Freestyle specific: Identical tip/tail lengths, symmetrical core profiling, flex and a centered binding stance.

Quadralizer Sidecut – Explosive combination of Equalizer and Quadratic sidecuts allows high speed carving as well as superior edge control in tight spots.

CORE

Popster Booster - Pop meets performance. Popster shapes the woodcore profile with strategically placed variations of thickness, providing skate-influenced snap and pop. Booster adds carbon stringers which spread underfoot energy more effectively to the tip and tail for maximum ollie power.

Ghost Carbon Beam - Two carbon beams inserts on the tip and tail of the board for maximum pop and increased stability during high speed charging.

A full Aspen, FSC-certified wood core with every piece being hand selected for unrivaled quality.

LAMINATES

Triax/BA MD Glass - Triaxial Fibreglass that increases durability and stability, plus Medium Density fibreglass that guarantees consistent quality and light, lively performance.

Greenpoxy Resin - High performance with low environmental impact, this bio-epoxy resin is made with 28% of its molecular structure derived from plants.

SIDEWALLS

Royal Rubber – These soft rubber blocks, inserted into Salomon’s ABS Sidewalls in the high pressure zones, smooth out the edge contact like no other construction, whatever the conditions.

BASE

Sintered Base – Provides a moderate balance between the speed created by a hard surface and good wax retention.

Medium Stone Finish – A medium structure finish that improves base glide. Quicker in all snow conditions, from cold morning corduroy to spring slush.

EDGES

Royal Rubber Rails - Full-length rubber sidewalls provide the highest level of dampening and protection.

TOPSHEET

Castor Bean Topsheet - A sustainable option to discontinue petroleum-based topsheet products by using bio-sourced Castor Bean. Durable and eco-friendly!

BINDING COMPATIBILITY

2 x 4 Insert Pattern
