It had to be affordable, play well, and give an easy path to learning more about kendama and joining our growing community. SWEETS KENDAMAS
Sweets Kendamas is the brainchild of Matt “Sweets” Jorgenson. Yes he is a person, and a unique one. He loves all skill related challenges, and broke his back doing a backflip on a snowboard requiring him to focus on hobbies with less risk of a repeat injury. His parents were both entrepenuers, and he knew he wanted to find something he was passionate about and start his own business. Sweets found Kendama, fell in love, and began a mission to make them more accessible outside of Japan. Graduating with a communications major from the University of Minnesota, he found others who loved Kendama on Youtube and asked if his new company could sponsor them. He also found friends to work for Pizza and Beer to help grow the company with sweat and creativity, wanting to make designs that had never been done before. Rural Delivery Surcharge
- Surcharge: $9.99 for any rural delivery.
- Note: We recommend delivery to a non-rural town or workplace to avoid this surcharge.
Waiheke Island Delivery Surcharge
- Surcharge: $30 due to high courier surcharges.
- Recommendation: Consider delivering to a friend in Auckland City who can bring it out.

- Rural Delivery Information: Please be aware that delivery times for rural areas may vary based on the frequency of service in your specific location. Shipping Schedule
All products are dispatched during normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm). Please note that our daily order cutoff time is 3 PM NZ time. Orders placed outside of business hours, during public holidays, and on weekends will be processed on the next business day, as courier companies do not operate during those times.
